Despite the need to delay for six months to relocate the three giraffes (and now a calf) to a spacious, vegetation-rich reserve where they will be able to thrive, I am thrilled to learn that a calf has been born – and want to help protect the family and feed them until the newborn is old enough to be moved. Two calves have already died – we must not let it happen again!
